The End of the 3-day Weekend

Boy, the weekend was nice. I worked hard Friday and Saturday on the gararge reorganization project. I had some members of the lodge come by and cart off two loads of goods for the Lodge garage sale. I went to Karate class and worked up a good sweat. Some folks came by to look at a horse we are selling. They lost two horses last week to a lightning strike. Our horse, Star, is getting old and with child #3 graduating and going to university, we needed to reduce costs. His couple fell in love with Star--he's the kindest, sweetest horse on the planet--and will be taking him in. They promised me--cowboy's honor--to give him a good home on their ranch. It was good to know "Cowboy's Honor" still existed. I'd hadn't heard that term in years.

Today was mostly church for me... it was a good day.
