Update

I've been very busy. That's a good thing.

  • My family--smoochie, hug, hug!
  • My work--tracking down bad folks is tedious but rewarding.
  • My reading--I've discovered a couple of new authors. I've rediscovered Jerry Pournelle (and even corresponded with him).
  • My listening--I'm treating myself over the next few months to unabridged audiobooks of the Patrick O'Brian "Master and Commander" series. I'm taking a short break from my spiritual listening. Everybody needs a good dose of swashbuckling, from time to time.
  • My callings in the Church--I'm still teaching the senior men's class, as you can see from the lessons. I'm a Family History Consultant, currently in week two of a 6-week basic genealogy class. I've recently become an "Assistant to the Stake Young-men's Presidency", serving as a "Unit Commisioner" to three scout troops. I'm just getting my formal training in that regard. I'm also in the Stake Choir, but we are taking a break for a month or so.
  • My exercise--I'm taking karate lessons three times a week and facilitating my youngest (#4) to do the same.
And right now--I am loving life!

I'm glad all is well. Things are going great with me and I'm still rocking the Hawaiian T-shirt. I'll never forget you/it. Thanks! :)
